Still No Name, Untitled Han Solo Film Has A Composer

I had been hearing that this had happened, but to be honest, my knowledge of composers is slim. I can probably name four, recognize a couple more if I hear their names, & I'm sure I'll think half of what I hear is John Williams. Keeping with the spirit of first names though, another John, John Powell, will compose the score this time around for the young, scruffy looking nerf-herder. If that means nothing to you don't sell yourself short, you're not the only one. It took me watching Collider the next day to find out I do remember this guy's work, even if I don't know his name. While I don't remember the music of the Bourne series or Kung Fu Panda, I do recall being blown away by the Academy Award winning music of How To Train Your Dragon. It really stood out to me during the film, & probably is the sole reason I actually remember that non-Disney animated motion picture. I've noticed that I really enjoy some of the other animated pictures out there. However, most non-Disney animated films seem to not have the lasting impression on me that Disney provides. Anyway, in my limited knowledge of composers, & my first thought being "that's not John Williams", I at least know there is something this guy worked on that I enjoyed thoroughly. They did also mention that this will stay true to the spirit of Star Wars, while retaining Powell's "distinctive voice". So it will probably still seem pretty familiar. When are they going to get a name for this thing though? Let us know what you think of this addition down in the comments, like, & share.
