Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. I've had a rollercoaster of a ride with this show. Sometimes liking it, sometimes hating it, & a few times actually loving it. The things that held it together through all of that though, has been Clark Gregg's, Agent Coulson. So when I heard his character was officially not returning for this season, I all but completely lost interest. That was until that first teaser trailer that ended in a very familiar face. That teased ending gets followed up in this clip from Wondercon, & dammit Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it looks like you've totally got me for yet another season. Obviously, I have to see what this anti-version of my favorite character is all about. This was the perfect clip to release to get might right back in front of the TV for another round. First Look At Season 6 Of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
Not even sure what I just watched when it comes to the Season 6 first look of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D . Mack is running the show with Coulson's death, but the majority of the trailer seemed to be in space hunting for Fitz. Who is in his frozen sleep trying to save the future. All the space travel seems like we're becoming Agents of S.W.O.R.D., Marvel comics space watchers. Think S.H.I.E.L.D in the stars, but the thing that really has me confused is the apparent return of a non-Coulson, Coulson in the end, & some kaleidoscope weirdness halfway in. My best guess is both have to do with the black hole looking object we see. Won't know for sure until this summer when the show returns to ABC. I've been more hit than miss with this show, as it's had a couple rocky points. Overall the show's been pretty consistently good over its first 5 seasons. Phil Coulson has been a driving force to that success however. So, I've got my fingers crossed to see if they can keep it up after his character's demise. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Trailer - More Space, And Were Those Kree?
Yup, I'm pretty sure those were Kree. Still tying to pump up excitement for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D season 5, this new trailer dropped, & with some pretty visuals, cryptically tells us nothing really. I did however ket me know I was wrong, we're probably not going to get Agents of S.W.O.R.D.. Instead, it looks like the team is held captive in space by some sort of cult? I did get that they have to escape this space station, prison, day spa, whatever it is. Anyway, we should get some answers to what looks like it could be an action packed space romp December 1st with a two hour premier. I'm actualky hoping this puts some consistency this show being good. It ended on a real high note with me, & trailer definitely does it justice. Hope the story can keep up, the idol worship of Coulson makes me want a little more explanation. What did y'all think though? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Did Y'all See The Cast Pics For The Upcoming Marvel "Runaways" & "Inhumans" TV Shows?
Earlier this week two cast pictures were released. One of which via Twitter, the cast of Marvel's Runaways, coming soon to Hulu, about a group of teens who find out their parents belong to a secret evil organization. While the second came from Entertainment Weekly in the form of the fully costumed cast pic of Marvel's Inhumans debuting on Imax Sept 1, & later following up on ABC. You'll see below I've labeled those pictures Exhibit A & Exhibit B. We'll start much like our alphabet with A. All Exhibit A needed was a diverse cast of teens from all different backgrounds. Mission accomplished. That success keeps me fully interested. Then there's Exhibit B. The internet has not been kind. The words cosplay & Walmart Halloween costumes have been thrown around, & I've got to say, not without merit. This is very 1994 Fantastic Four-ish. And maybe it's only because I've seen these done sooo much better by cosplayers. I'm hoping they come off more believable in action, but this picture is not encouraging.
