Teaser For "Disney Loves Jazz, Soiree Of Jazz At Disneyland Paris" Released

September 29th 2018, the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris will present the first edition of Disney Loves Jazz , & what I would give to attend. Inspired by the jazz albums of the same name, Disney Loves Jazz  will take jazz bands along with internationally renowned artists covering Disney Classics with a jazz twist. The first volume of this immediately became one of my all time favorites. Hence this catching my eye. The song line up was amazing, & the covers were just perfect. That's coming from someone who does not do covers on top of that. This sounds like a whole lot of fun though, & I would love to see a version of this one day at Disneyworld. If not, maybe it'll become a thing, & I'll be able to drag myself Paris one day to attend there. Until then, I've got the albums. Anyone else love Disney Loves Jazz?  Let me know in the comments, like, & share.

Did You Miss The 6+ Hour Stream Of "FanDaze" At Disneyland Paris?

Disney made sure no one got left out for the inaugural Disneyland Paris FanDaze  party. For six-plus hours in Saturday they went live with almost every part of this amazing event. There's parades, interviews with artists & imagineers, & every character they could think up (including the debut of Ortensia), an awesome stage show with Max from A Goofy Movie  all capped off with a farewell parade. I watched some of this off & on live, then scanned through & caught what I hadn't seen. Probably going to watch it again with the whole family. This had to be the most entertaining live stream I've seen from any park. Disney went all out for this event. They need to take FanDaze on tour throughout all the parks. I'd spend multiple days just running around madly trying to meet all the 50+ characters. I'm so glad they went live with this. Do yourself a favor & scan through it at least to catch the parades (especially the DuckTales one) & Max's show. If you do have the time though, the interviews are great, & the character list features characters you'll never see from all over the years. Even Kuzco & Ysma were there. This is the most unbelievable event I've ever seen or heard of throughout all the Disney parks. Huge is an understatement. Unfortunately, I can't make it to Paris, but this was the next best thing. Extra thanks to Disneyland Paris for letting us all in on the party!

Watch How Disneyland Paris Is Celebrating Earth Month 2018

Disney is really big in EarthMonth. Each year Disneynature goes above & beyond to help try to save this great planet we tend to take for granted. Today, this preview was released of Blue . This show features scenes from Disneynature's Dolphins  projected on Sleeping Beauty Castle, along with lights & water, bringing it to life "under the sea". This looks like it's going to be absolutely beautiful. I would love to be able to attend this spectacle, but there's a good amount of land & water separating myself & Disneyland Paris though. If you are in the vicinity though, make sure to check this out. If it's anything like Happily Ever After , you're in for a real treat. Until then, check out this preview, & let me know what you think. Put it I  the comments, like, & share.

Marvel Heroes Are Invading Disney Parks Around The World

So, I've missed a couple things in the few days I've been away. The biggest of which being this huge announcement from Disney Parks Blog. Three themed areas will be coming to Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, & Hong Kong Disneyland, placing guests right in the middle of some superhero action. Developed in partnership with Marvel Studios & Marvel Themed Entertainment, beginning in 2020, Disney California Adventure will be continuing its evolution. With a new experience taking place of "a bug's land", & to be anchored by Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!,  you'll be joined by the Guardians of the Galaxy,  Spider-Man, & the Avengers in this new land. Meanwhile, the Marvel-themed area coming to Walt Disney Studio Park at Disneyland Paris will include the reimagined Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster into a hyper-kinetic adventure where you'll team up with Iron-Man & the Avengers. This opens in 2020, but now they have "Summer of Super Heroes" running from June 10th to September 30th. Where you can catch the heroes in a stage production featuring "cutting-edge special effects & spectacular projections." Last but not least, you've got Hong Kong Disneyland, where Iron Man Experience has become the resorts most popular attraction. Their expansion plan is already been put in motion with a new attraction teaming you with Ant-Man & The Wasp against Arnim Zola & an army of Hydra bots. This sounds amazing on so many levels. 2020 is starting to sound like a really good time to plan a trip finally to Disneyland. Who knows? That's a couple years. It could be enough time for me to think about traveling abroad to The Disney Parks of other nations even. The 8 year old me is going absolutely nuts that this is even happening in the first place. Superheroes in Disneyland? Brought to life like Disney does? Seriously? It's hard to wrap my own head around that I love I  a time where this is all possible now. Anyway, what do y'all think? Excited? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Major Expansion Announced For Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has not seen development like this since 1992. This morning Disney Chairman & CEO, Bob Iger announced a multi-year, 2 billion euro expansion, transforming Walt Disney Studios Park. Three new areas will be added based on Marvel, Frozen,  & of course, Star Wars.  A new lake will be the focal point for entertainment experiences, & connect the three areas. Phases will start rolling out in 2021, most likely with the previously announced reimagining of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith into an Iron-Man adventure. All these developments in Disney Parks around the world are not just awesome, they're giving me time to save up enough money to check this new stuff. No rush all the sudden, I want to see all this new stuff. Excited for these upcoming additions tok Disneyland Paris? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Count Yourself Lucky If You Find Yourself At Disneyland Paris June 2 For FanDaze

Why does there have to be so much water between myself & Disneyland Paris? I would totally be there for this if not. What's this? FanDaze! For one night only at the Walt Disney Studios Park on June 2 there'll be an awesome Disney celebration with exclusive new shows, rare Disney character encounters, original dining menus, a chance to hear from Imagineers, & more. This will be a one-of-a-kind hard ticket event. Out of everything I'm going to list that will be involved in this celebration, this is the one that gets me the most excited. 50+ Disney characters will be visiting the park. Characters from Monsters Inc., The Emperor's New Groove, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Incredibles, Hercules, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, & Big Hero 6. Just to name a few, we're talkin' George Sanderson, Needleman, Kuzco, Kronk, Quasimodo, Esmerelda, Mr. & Mrs. Incredible, & Frozone. Even classic characters Horace Horescollar, Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck, & a first ever park appearance from Ortensia, friend of Oswald the Rabbit! With new outfits to debut, & rumor of more than a dozen Heroes & Villains on top of that, I know how I'd be spending my day. The entertainment comes a close second with a Dance Your DuckTales Parade, PJ's Party, & Jumba & Pleakley's Mission: Stitch! interactive show. Then on the Production Courtyard stage rock out with Max-Live! Getting Goofy With It nighttime spectacular. The Farewell Street Party will close everything off with more than 80 Disney characters. Of course there will also be original menus with special foods throughout the park & limited-edition merchandise, but you'll also have a chance to enter a grand raffle for a night at Disneyland Hotel's Sleeping Beauty Suite. Like I said if there wasn't so much water separating me from Paris, you couldn't keep me away from this. This looks amazingly, awesomely, spestastic! What do y'all think? Who would be there if they could, & who's going? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Disney Files Patent For New "Swinging" Ride System

"One goal in designing the ride system was to deliver an experience similar to what it would feel like to be with Tarzan or a similar character swinging between trees of a jungle on a vine or with Spider-Man or a similar character swinging on webs between buildings as you move down streets of a city. [The ride is] intended to have swinging sensation provided while also having forward travel along a ride path in a direction of travel and for the swinging sensation to feel thrilling and fun." That's the description that came with these pictures according to the Orlando Business Journal. Now the real questions are what is this going to be, & where is it going to go? The easy pick would be a Spider-Man ride. To me that just sounds a little iffy with the studio team-up situation Disney has with Sony when it comes to Spider-Man. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure Disney would want to go with an attraction for a property they only have a half interest in. If I had to go with my gut, I'm thinking this is something for either the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster, or the Millenium Falcon attraction planned for Galaxy's Edge. The patent also mentionsthe movement of the swings could be controlled where the arm could be slower at the top of a roll to simulate a pause before swinging downward quickly, speeding up as it reaches the bottom-most part of the swing to simulate natural movements. That also gives me that idea as opposed to it actually being a Spider-Man ride. It's all speculation right now though until we hear more. What do y'all think though? A Look At Updated Pirates of The Caribbean Ride At Disneyland Paris & I Still Want My Redhead

Not long ago, Disney not only let everyone know the "We want the Redhead!" Auction Scene would be removed, but that this would be repeated at all Pirates of the Caribbean attractions. It's an understatement to say that this did not go over well. Now Annual Passholders got a special glimpse of the ride & DLP Welcome has put up this first look. There's a couple really cool things like the swordfight & the skeleton changing Barbossa, so take the time to check it out. I still miss the Redhead scene though, I would even join in the chant. This new one seems to lack the character. As I said before, these are pirates, it added some realism. That's why it was there in the first place. Will it be missed? Yes. Is it a noticeable missing piece to a first timer going through? No. So personally, while I not only miss the scene, & really don't like the reason why this change has occurred, it does not take away from the ride either way. Love to know what you think though. Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Changes For "Pirates of the Caribbean" Both Good & Bad It Seems

Yes, it seems the classic "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride in Disneyland Paris will be going through some major changes when it reopens July 24th. As well as some eventual changes coming stateside as well. Chip & Co. reports when the Disneyland Paris attraction reopens it will now contain Captain Barbossa,  ghostly visages of Davy Jones & Blackbeard warning "dead men DO tell tales", & a new part for the famous Redhead (More on that later). The ride will also feature new enhanced Audio-Animatronics, cosutmes, special effects, lighting & sound, some of which classical music themes from the films. Oh yeah, Captain Jack has also renamed the Blue Lagoon Restaurant after himself. It seems he won it in a wager. This is all really cool, save one part. I enjoyed the addition of Jack stateside, as well as Davy Jones. Even though it sadly seemed to shorten the length of the ride. This however is just wrong. I mentioned the Redhead is getting a new part. She will  Yes, it looks like the "We want the redhead auction will now be over." Not only that though, similar refurbishmentsare expected to take place in Disneyland & Magic Kingdom in 2018. They say it has to do with the changing of the times. I'm of the thought that pirates set in a time long ago don't change with the times. If they changed with the times this movie would look a lot more like that Tom Hanks movie Captain Phillips. Anyway, they're still leaving the line, "we want the redhead". Now she'll be taking part in the pirating. I just can't help feeling this is a bad change for the wrong reasons. What do you think? Leave the classics alone? Or are we not big enough to realize part of history anymore without taking it personal? Remember this is a ride about pirates, scallywags, thieves, & murderers.
