Just when you thought you were safe from any more featurettes, Disney has delivered 3 more for August 3rd's Christopher Robin. I put them in the order I enjoyed them. The first being a pretty entertaining interview between Ewan McGregor & his stuffed costars. I gotta give Eeyore most entertaining, but Tigger & Pooh hold their own as well. The second one collects Pooh's wisdom from some previous trailers, & highlights it. Considering that's been my favorite part of them so far, this totally works for me. It is leaning towards the style of the third though, I mentioned this on the last featurette that was released. I'm not liking the pattern of throwing out these whole minute to 2 minute scenes like in this third video. It could just be me, but seeing the whole scene not cut up, kinda takes me out of that part when it plays. Love the scene, don't get me wrong. I would just choose to see it in its whole with the whole film. Anyway, what are y'all's thoughts on this newest collection of featurettes? Put 'em in the comments, like, & share.
"Christopher Robin" Extended Look Is Filled With Pooh Wisdom
As with every other trailer for Christopher Robin , I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this extended look. The wisdom of Pooh is just great throughout this whole thing. My only real concern is if they're showing us too much of it. I really hope they're saving some quips that are just as good, or even better than what they've showed us now so far. They're getting to the point where if they don't have your money yet, you're probably just not that into Winnie the Pooh. All in all though, that's kinda how I'm getting with all these extended peeks. Luckily, most of it is from other trailers, but this will be the third film in a row with a full scene or two I've already seen. Honestly, it takes a little away from me. Which seems crazy, as they're primarily scenes we've basically seen. Usually just all chopped up throughout a course of trailers. I guess when it's like that & spread out over the course of trailers, it gets trickier to put it all together. Anyway, back to this actual extended look. Putting aside the fact that I don't need to see anymore, I loved every second. They had my money after the first trailer, & every bit of this peek had me smiling. I can't wait! What do y'all think? Is this silly ol bear in your future or not? Also, what do y'all think of this new pattern of extended sneak peeks? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Cast And Crew Of "Christopher Robin" Discuss Pooh's "Legacy"
The wheels of promotion have been thrown into high gear on Disney's Christopher Robin. A new trailer was almost immediately followed by this featurette titled Legacy . In it we get to see filmmakers & cast discuss exactly that. The great legacy of Winnie the Pooh . You can see how much these characters mean to all the people involved. This featurette along with the new trailer has really got me. I'm starting to think it's gonna be hard work not to get emotional through this one. I get all the feels just watching the trailer, if the movie keeps that up? I almost want to put reaction cams on the audience to catch the blubbering mess it dissolves into. Heart Melting New Trailer For "Christopher Robin"
This new trailer for Disney's upcoming Christopher Robin features a little of all the friends of Hundred Acre Woods, & left me giddy with excitement. This looks like it is going to be great. As funny as it looks, it definitely has the potential. As entertaining as this trailer was, what really keeps getting me is how well they've seemed to handle these characters. You see some years of character development in Ewan McGregor's Christopher Robin, but his beloved stuffed friends are exactly, nail on the head, as we remember them. You get some more of them in this trailer than others too. All in all, it looks like it could be a perfect blend of new & nostalgia. That's what really has me with all these trailers. Even though it's all new, the characters are so spot on, it still feels 100% familiar. I'm getting more & more excited with every look they give at this one. I can't wait until Aug 3rd! What about y'all? Did y'all love this new trailer as much as I did? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
"Christopher Robin" Drops New Trailer
Christopher Robin is officially starting get it's big push, releasing a new poster last night accompanied by a trailer today. And while this poster is cute, the trailer has me absolutely giddy. I'm hoping it's not just nostalgia, but I'm really digging this trailer. I can't wait to drag my kids to this. I've always been a giant Winnie the Pooh fan, & this trailer came off so genuine. Looks like there's gonna be a whole bunch of messages, surrounded by a whole bunch of fluff. So far, this is everything I was hoping for. August 3rd can't come fast enough. I'm looking forward to this even more than Mary Poppins Returns . How bout y'all? Pooh or Poppins? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
