New Trailer For Marvel Studio's "Captain Marvel" Debuted Last Night

After finding out that Jude Law is in fact not playing Mar-Vell as everyone previously thought via a Pop Vinyl release, I was really looking forward to this new Captain Marvel trailer. For those who don't know the Pop figure I'm mentioning was named Yon-Rogg. Funny thing is this is the exact opposite of playing Mar-Vell, as he was his nemesis. According to ScreenRant, Marvel was not so happy about this apparent leak, & the Pop figure's name has now been changed to Star Commander. So, still not 100%, but I'm just gonna guess a form a Yonn-Rogg is the safe bet. Anyway, back to the matter at hand, this new trailer. I was a little underwhelmed this time around. Don't get me wrong, I really liked it. I was just expecting to be blown away. In fact besides the last couple of scenes where Captain Marvel's tearing ass through space, I honestly thought Samuel L. Jackson's young Nick Fury totally stole the the trailer.  On top of that, it doesn't help Larson almost seems bored at times here. I'm still feel like the finished product is going to be great. This trailer just didn't give me the feeling that most Marvel trailers do. I do feel like this is going to be the most "comic-book" thing we've seen so far in the somewhat grounded reality of the MCU so far. I think this is really going to test what they can do next in the form of expanding the universe into the wide world of weird that is the whole of Marvel comics. Believe me when I say we haven't even scratched the surface of where Marvel can go. So, all in all, I liked the trailer.  I was hoping to love it, but it's a just a commercial. No real reflection on the final product. They put out an awesome looking poster though. But really, I'm curious to know, what are y'all's thoughts? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

"Captain Marvel" Official Trailer Is So Friggin' Here!!

Oh my Celestial!! This Captain Marvel trailer was amazing on so many levels! My excitement level wasn't on an Avengers 4 level for this one, but it sure as Hela is now! Everything I saw got me excited for this one. March 8th is just too far away to do this to me. Just off this trailer alone I can list several things I can't wait to see on top of Captain Marvel herself. The discovering her own origin storyline is intriguing, young Nick Fury seems to be everything I could've possibly hoped for, & Skrulls! Skrulls! A Marvel comic staple. Throw in young Coulson, Jude Law, & that awesome power up sequence? I'm so in! Marvel here, take my money!! Just show me more! March 8th now seems so far away. I can't wait! What did y'all think? Nick Fury & Maria Hill To Join "Spider-Man: Far From Home"

A lot of dust is returning to the Marvel universe for Spider-Man: Far From Home . Spider-Man will not be the only victim of Thanos's snap to appear in the sequel to the Sony/Marvel collaboration Spider-Man: Homecoming . He will be joined by Samuel L Jackson & Cobie Smulders' Nick Fury & Maria Hill, Agents of SHIELD. I saw this on Vulture earlier, & thought, "that's kinda out of left field." Then I thought about how big the connection between Spider-Man & Nick Fury was in Marvel's Ultimate Universe. He pretty much took the role of MCU Tony Stark in those Bendis fueled stories. There was some great back & forth between those two, that will totally shine on the big screen. I've actually gotten more & more excited about this the more I thought about it. Between this & Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, I'm getting pretty excited for July 5th. Love to know what y'all think though. Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Nick Fury Not In Avengers 3 or Avengers 4

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo Movies UK for his upcoming film The Hitman's Bodyguard, Samuel L. Jackson let it be known Nick Fury will not be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War or the yet to be titled Avengers 4. This is a very puzzling move to me as they've said these films are to be the culmination of the 22 Marvel films up to that date. If that's the case, I really feel like the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. should be a part of it. If you recall when this was all getting put together "The Avengers Initiative" was all Nick Fury's thing. If anything he's the glue that binds the Avengers team together. I just felt like since this all started with him, it would be appropriate for it to end with him there as well. For that matter I still want to no where Fury stands on the events of Captain America: Civil War, & the whole "Sokovia Accords" thing. This news troubles me, & in the immortal words of that horse from Ren & Stimpy, "No sir, I don't like it." What do y'all think though? Major loss for the Avengers? Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury Joining "Captain Marvel"

Deadline has confirmed Samuel L. Jackson's, Nick Fury will be reprising his role in March 8, 2019's Captain Marvel. He'll be joining Academy Award winning, Brie Larson, who's taking the role of the title character with Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck scheduled to direct. I couldn't be happier about this news. Everyone always lists Captain America as the leader of the Avengers. However, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it was Nick Fury that put everything together. He kept the ball rolling for a good while there to. For that matter, I really want to know Fury's take on the Sokovia Accords. The Ultimate Universe of Marvel comics basically designed this character with Samuel L. Jackson in mind. It show's too, because he is perfect in the role. Anyway, what do y'all think? Does this get you anymore excited Captain Marvel? I know I'm more interested with this info. Write it in the comments, like, & share.
