Just around the corner now with a release date of May 2020, Marvel's upcoming Black Widow prequel has released a teaser trailer. The trailer was decent for what it was. It was basically a quick intro to the characters Natasha will meet back up with from her past. Enough to get me a little more intrigued than I was in the first place. Red Guardian seems to be one of the most interesting aspects for me. If they don’t make him a complete joke, he looks like he could be a lot of fun. For me this really hinges on the what & when. I can't pinpoint exactly when this actually takes place. Which will mean a lot, but really takes second place to the what. Because I'm not thinking the actual what of this film, but what it will have to do with the future of the MCU? Much like Captain Marvel, a good prequel has major effects on the now & beyond. I'm wondering what that will be with this? Something here should heavily influence the now & beyond. That's actually my biggest excitement from this film. Good character intro teaser though. Not much on substance, but it’s a teaser. I will say this though, they’re really going t ok have to come out the booth to make this a Marvel film, & not just another spy film. What are y'all's thoughts though? Put ‘em in the comments, like, & share.
Marvel's Avengers: A Day Game Trailer From E3
I've been waiting for a good Avengers game for a long time. I've got my fingers crossed this will be it. The story's cool, the synopsis matches up with the trailer. It goes, "Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes." Like I said, sounds good, I just can't put my finger on what feels off. It's a little weird for the characters to be so heavily themed to the films, but not the actors from the film for one. I could get around that though. I think the big thing holding this one back for me is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. In comparison this game dosen't hit the want factor that one does. Maybe it's a cannon story vs. a non-cannon story, this feels it isn't pushing next gen too hard, or a lack of Avengers. I don't know. While I want to give this a play, I'm not highly anticipating it as I though I would. Maybe when I do I'll find out there's way more to it than this trailer. I hope so. What about y'all? Does this do it for y'all? Are you more excited about this or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Read MoreSpecial Look At "Avengers: Endgame" As Tickets Go On Sale
A lot of settling went into the battle for my tickets this morning as all apps were pretty much in lockup while fans went crazy trying to secure their spots. Meanwhile, this "special look" trailer dropped, to announce said tickets for what has probably become the most anticipated event of the year. And what a special look it was! We finally get see Cap & Iron Man together for the first time since they went at it in Civil War, & so much more. I'll probably watch this thing 50 more times, as there were so many things jammed into this minute my head was about to explode trying to take it all in. Thanos, a spaceship piloted by Captain Marvel, & probably more misdirection than we can even imagine. Great quick look, that made me wonder if the Russos were still only feeding us stuff from the first act? Not to mention that scene where Tony asks Cap if he trusts him sure does look like the same spot in New York where he fought Ebony Maw. So many questions, but only 23 days until they're all answered. Great trailer though. I'm pumped up to a level of anticipation I'm not sure I've ever had. That said, what did y'all think of this trailer? Anything I might've missed? Throw it in the comments, like, & share.
Read MoreNew Suits And Captain Marvel In New "Avengers: Endgame" Official Trailer
Where the last trailer for Avengers: Endgame felt like it was all about how this bridges from Infinity War, this new one is more about bridging everything we've seen from the start of the MCU as a whole. Dug seein' the new suits. Apparently, geared for space travel or Quantum Realm time travel. Lord knows there's been plenty of theories. These are on point to the concept art a long while back that people where questioning the truth of. Loved the epicness of going all the way back to the beginnings & stringing them into the now. There's now no doubt in my mind Hawkeye/Ronin loses everything in the snap. My favorite part of this trailer however, is the interaction between Thor & Captain Marvel. Absolutely loved it. Anyway, loved this trailer, & as usual with MCU trailers, I'm glad they're not showing us much. Mainly they just build on the scenes they've already shown. I've also got to mention though, not sure what to believe after all the deception found in the Captain Marvel trailer vs the actual film. Curious though, what are y'all's thoughts? Official Trailer For Marvel's "The Punisher" Season 2 On Netflix
I hate to say this in a world where every single Marvel show on Netflix has been cancelled. With this first trailer for the second season of The Punisher , I really wasn't as impressed as I'd have liked to be. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is that doesn't do it for me here, but just off top, Jon Berthal doesn't come off as the Frank Castle of we've known from Daredevil or the even the first season for that matter. Not to mention I'm hating the look of the guy we're not going to officially call Jigsaw. Maybe it was those two things mixed with the excess in daylight scenes. Combine that with that fact that I personally think this one will join the void of cancellation the others were thrown into after this season, & it's real hard to get excited. And that's coming from someone who thought the first season was one of Netflix's best so far, save the first season of Daredevil . Anyway, I so hope this proves me wrong. I want this to be good. Hell, great even. The Punisher was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid. So, that said, I've still got my fingers crossed. Curious though, what did y'all think of the trailer? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
The Trailer Is Here, And Your Title Is "Avengers: Endgame"
Wow..... Wow. Wow. Wow. This trailer was everything I wanted it to be & more. I thought it was just going to be a teaser. Figured it was definitely going to end after Tony/Iron Man's message is space, but no. It just kept going. Finally giving us the title, & yes, it's one of the heavily rumored ones, Avengers: Endgame. This is how you launch off something this big. This gave me goosebumps. In fact, I've never had a preview put me through so many emotions all at once. If you want to know why I wasn't totally feelin' the Captain Marvel trailer, this is why. This is the caliber of trailer we should be at. I should want to jump up & see the film now, & not now, but right now. I could do with just this, & absolutely no more until this film come out. Perfect opening trailer. All the feels, & then ending on a comedic note. Loved it!! I can't even say anything else. Just hurry & come out! What do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
New Trailer For Marvel Studio's "Captain Marvel" Debuted Last Night
After finding out that Jude Law is in fact not playing Mar-Vell as everyone previously thought via a Pop Vinyl release, I was really looking forward to this new Captain Marvel trailer. For those who don't know the Pop figure I'm mentioning was named Yon-Rogg. Funny thing is this is the exact opposite of playing Mar-Vell, as he was his nemesis. According to ScreenRant, Marvel was not so happy about this apparent leak, & the Pop figure's name has now been changed to Star Commander. So, still not 100%, but I'm just gonna guess a form a Yonn-Rogg is the safe bet. Anyway, back to the matter at hand, this new trailer. I was a little underwhelmed this time around. Don't get me wrong, I really liked it. I was just expecting to be blown away. In fact besides the last couple of scenes where Captain Marvel's tearing ass through space, I honestly thought Samuel L. Jackson's young Nick Fury totally stole the the trailer. On top of that, it doesn't help Larson almost seems bored at times here. I'm still feel like the finished product is going to be great. This trailer just didn't give me the feeling that most Marvel trailers do. I do feel like this is going to be the most "comic-book" thing we've seen so far in the somewhat grounded reality of the MCU so far. I think this is really going to test what they can do next in the form of expanding the universe into the wide world of weird that is the whole of Marvel comics. Believe me when I say we haven't even scratched the surface of where Marvel can go. So, all in all, I liked the trailer. I was hoping to love it, but it's a just a commercial. No real reflection on the final product. They put out an awesome looking poster though. But really, I'm curious to know, what are y'all's thoughts? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
New Iron Fist Trailer Gives Danny A Worthy Opponent
I loved this new trailer for Netflix's second season of Marvel's Iron Fist. I was one of the very few big fans of the first season, but my only drawback was that no one seemed to stand a chance when it really came down to it. Much like Luke Cage's Bushmaster, this season will feature more of an equal to Danny Rand in the form of the man he previously beat to take the mantle of Iron Fist in the first place. If they treat this the same as season 2 of Luke Cage we're in for one heckuvan awesome season. This trailer made me think that's the formula they're going for. Sept. 7th will find Danny getting roadblocked by this new foe while trying to take up Daredevil's job of protecting the city after the events of Defenders . After this trailer? I'm all in & then some. What about y'all? Are y'all feelin' this trailer as much as I am? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Looks Like I'm A Little Late To The First Actual Trailer For "Iron Fist" Season 2
I heard a lot of negative feedback for the first season of Marvel's Iron Fist on Netflix. Personally, I loved it. Out of the first seasons of each show, I thought it came in second, right under Daredevil. So, needless to say I was really excited when I saw the date announcement a couple weeks ago. Then I clicked it. Honestly, I would've been more happy with just a logo & a date. The video we got might've worked if it was for season 1, but it's not. This video up top though is more of a teaser trailer. Personally, I would've used this to announce the date. Edit it down of course, but this one built on season 1 without spoiling it. Hinting at what we can probably expect from Season 2. Leaving aside spoilers, on top of protecting the city, I'm guessing we're picking up on the search for KunLun. The hidden which Danny seems have some memories resurfacing. The video shows the classic Iron Fist mask from the comics, & what looks like a pretty brutal tournament. If I had to guess this was probably for the mantle of Iron Fist. Even though the mask looked a little cheesy, this was an awesome teaser. I can't wait until September 7th. If it's on the same level as Punisher & especially Luke Cage season 2, we're gonna be in for a real treat. Loved this, even if I did see it 3 days late. What did y'all think? Are y'all in for Iron Fist season 2? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Apparently, The MCU Has All Led To This...
This trailer is hilarious! This is set up for Ant-Man & the Wasp tickets going on sale tomorrow, announcing that everything you know & every experience has all led to this. So far, every single time I have any little doubts about this movie they put out a spot I absolutely love. This caught me so off guard. I knew there was going to be a punch line, but that was great. And then it just kept giving the more that came out. Great set up for the desk. I will definitely be grabbing tickets tomorrow. How bout y'all? Put your thoughts in the comments, like, & share.
New Trailer For "Luke Cage" Looks Very Promising
June 22nd is now one of the most anticipated dates on my calendar. This new trailer for Luke Cage season 2 is awesome! I loved the first season's first half. After Cottonmouth's demise however, it quickly fell apart. This one looks like it might fix that downfall by putting Mariah in the crosshairs of new baddie, Bushmaster. Who looks like he's gonna be friggin awesome by the way. Putting Mariah in his line looks like it's gonna be a nice way to curb her story. It puts her under Cage's reluctant protection, effectively switching the narrative to this new, invincible, bullets bounce off him, magic man. This trailer actually looks like this season could top Daredevil , which for me has been the high point for Netflix's Marvel shows. Can't wait though, what do y'all think of this new trailer? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Mixed Feelings On The TV Spots For "Ant-Man & The Wasp
The past week has brought us a couple new TV spots for Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man & the Wasp . The first of which I was not into at all. The list joke was okay until the end. Definitely not something I'd use for a trailer, & the "save the world" part seemed to drag on a corny joke. A corny joke that would have been a little improved if cut short, ending at the 2A part. This had me a little worried. I loved the first film & liked the trailers for the sequel up to this point. The funny in this film highly matters though, so it needs to be on point. So when we got this next TV spot over the weekend, the "Wassup?" joke in the beginning kept my concerns going. That joke was dated when Scary Movie 2 used it. Does anybody really remember those guys anymore. They give the right response. Just will anybody get it now? I was put right back on though, with the "I eat people" line. That actually made me laugh out loud. All in all I'm thinking this one is really going to be hit & miss with the jokes. It looks like they're amping up the action this time around though. We'll see if that can balance everything out. For that matter we're just talking trailers. I've seen bad films with good trailers & vice versa. I'm honestly just looking forward to a little getaway from the effects of Infinity War , before we have to get psychologically ready for what comes next. Anyway, mixed feels on the TV spots. Concerns, but nothing to turn me away at all. Or really even get me too worried right now, for that matter. What are y'all's thoughts? Put em in the comments, like, & share.
New Trailer For Marvel's "Luke Cage" On Netflix
June 22nd we've got another round of Luke Cage coming to Netflix, & I'm not sure what to think. The first half of season 1 was some of the best stuff Netflix has made as a studio. Then they killed off the best character. This has left us with a portion of plot rolling into season 2 that I could care less about. On the other hand, seeing this trailer, Bushmaster looks like a formidable foe. I don't know anything about the character. From the trailer, I'm getting a voodoo vibe. Always makes for a good antagonist. It also looks like we're taking one more step towards "Heros for Hire". That's one of the things I've been looking forward to since the addition of Misty & the Iron Fist. So all in all, this trailer has left me kinda just wondering. There's what I knew would be the inevitable already disappointing leftovers from the end of season 1. However, everything new looks really good. I'll say this, I'm more excited for this now than I was. What do y'all think? Amped up for season 2? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
New Trailer For Marvel's "Cloak & Dagger"
Out of everything I've seen so far for Marvel's upcoming Cloak & Dagger coming to Freeform, this one just didn't really do it for me. That's just this trailer, as I'm still highly awaiting the show's June 7th premier. I really just wasn't feeling the style of it. Also, this was the first time I really started to worry about how much "Cloak & Dagger" as opposed to teen drama are we gonna get? I'm still not ready to write off Freedom's first steps into the Marvel universe, but I do have realistic expectations after Agents of SHIELD, & even more so the horrible Inhumans. Which I watched all the way through, & while not as bad as they say, it's a far cry from good. Are y'all diggin' this trailer though? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
"Avengers: Infinity War" Too Big For Super Bowl Spot
Super Bowl spots are expensive on a whole crazy level. 30 seconds just isn't enough for an Avengers: Infinity War trailer though. Basically, this is enough time to scroll through the characters. There's a couple new shots, like Cap's Wakanda shield, & Iron Man's nano tech suit. Along with some switch ups to, look at this character with this character, & this one with these guys. I'm still excited for this film. In fact, this is probably my most anticipated film this year, & the trailer looks good. It just made me realize how precious time is going to be during this film. There are a lot of cogs in this machine, & this trailer made me see, it's going to be a real trick getting all those cogs to shine & stand out. Building an enormous cast of heroes up as well as trying to develop a villain on a worthy enough scale to face them all? That's a lot. This trailer just gave me a new perspective of thought on this film. Can't wait. What do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Marvel's "RUNAWAYS" Gets A Teaser Trailer!!
I'm didn't know how much I was anticipating November 16th until I saw this teaser trailer. Hulu looks like it's prepared to give Netflix a run for it's money with this spot for their upcoming Runaways. This will be based on Marvel's story about a group of kids who find out their parents are in a supervillain cult. Awesome premise. I've read some of it myself, & went on to follow some of the characters further on in their lives. A part of me is wondering if I'm only this excited from this trailer for the few things I do know about some of the characters, because it's definitely a teaser. I can't wait to see this though. I really am intrigued as to what y'all think? Especially those who know nothing of the source material. Does this look intriguing to you? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
New "Thor: Ragnarok Trailer" Is Definitely Worthy
First & foremost I have to mention I loved the first Thor. I liked the second, not one of my favorite Marvel movies, but I still enjoy it nonetheless. However, once again, I loved the first Thor. To me it was one of the first of Marvel's superhero movies to start this rend of not feeling like a superhero movie. It seemed accessible to fans of movies that before that time still kinda scoffed at comic book movies. I'm sidetracking to much though. This is about this mighty trailer. This is everything I could have possibly wanted to see that I hadn't already seen in the first trailer. They've mentioned this as a sort of "buddy adventure" & the conversation between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) & Banner (Mark Ruffalo) about their fight is definitely evidence of that. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) looks absolutely amazing as usual. The comedic tone in this thing is so on point. Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster is a perfect match to be the brother of Benicio Del Toro's Collector. Cate Blanchett's Hela refers to herself as the goddess of death so many times, it almost confirms the rumors that she will be "Death" for the MCU. "Death" being the objective of Thanos, as that's where his affections lie. Back to the trailer though, we also get to see new addition Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) in action. We're looking at some rather epic battles this time around. And if you're not sold on this one yet, Hulk talks. That's right Hulk can say more than just Smash now. November 3rd just started seeming further away. I can't stop without mentioning that awesome poster down below. That's art. In a world where wejust photoshop some floating heads around a title, this is amazing. I would totally hang this on my wall. That's probably one of the best things I can say about a movie poster. Anyway, what di y'all think? Both of the trailer & the poster? Let us know in the comments, like, & share.
Friendly Neiborhood Spider-man Get Another Amazing Trailer
Spider-man Homecoming dropped a new trailer today. This one is more centered on our friendly neighborhood Spider-man after the events of Captain America: Civil War. We get a better look at the new suit, which is a lot more like the comic book this time around. With multiple function web-shooters & lenses that give a on-screen "HUB", much like the screen in Iron Man's armor, this Spidey seems prepared to take on much more than common thugs. Which seems to be one of the underlying plot points behind this outing, Spidey thinking he should be doing bigger, better things. This trailer is amazing, but this puts me at the point where they can stop. I don't want to see anymore of this movie until July 7th when I'm sitting in the theater. I actually can't believe I'm this excited for this movie. Considering this will be the third incantation of this character in the time it took to retire one Wolverine. Nonetheless, I can't wait to see Spider-man's first official adventure in the MCU. What do you think? Can't wait? Or actually need to see more to be convinced? Let us know in the comments like & share.
