According to THR in a conference call on Thursday, Bob Iger has confirmed some amazing Star Wars tidbits. First, with a trilogy, first episode to be written & directed by Rian Johnson of the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Then came the long awaited confirmation of a Star Wars universe live-action TV show. Available on the Disney streaming service set to pop off in 2019. The big question on everyone's minds? What are these going to be? Bounty Hunters? Old Republic? Rebellion? Resistance? First Order? Obi-Wan? Probably not. Lucasfilm elaborated that the trilogy "will introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never explored." Sooo, Outer Rim? Who knows, I'm curious though. This sounds like what I was thinking about when Disney first bought Lucasfilm, & was talking about extending the universe. As for the TV show, it's going to happen is all I really found out about it. So, lord knows what it will be about, but I will go as far as say expect something big. This sounds like something they're really going to use to tent-pole this subscription service they're going for. I can't wait though, more Star Wars is always good news. What do y'all think though? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
