This is in a close run to being my favorite classic piece of Disney animation, & now it has a director attached. In a THR exclusive Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, is in negotiations to helm the live-action remake to The Sword in the Stone . Fresnadillo is best known for directing 28 Weeks Later. Which, while I didn't enjoy it as much as 28 Days Later, it's my second favorite zombie film. Bryan Cogman wrote the script, he's a writer-producer on HBO's Game of Thrones. I can't wait to see where this goes. The Sword In The Stone is not only the best telling we've ever got of this story in my opinion, it's the only one out of three out of many, many attempts I think even worked at all. Out of all the announced live-action remakes, this is the one I'm most excited for. Only have that one film to really judge this director from, but it was a solid one, & he was trying to follow up the great Danny Boyle even. What do y'all think though?
