Disneynature’s all-new feature film Penguins is described as a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he's targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who threaten his happily ever after. From the filmmaking team behind Bears and Chimpanzee. I saw this yesterday, while spending my Earth Day dodging tornados. It's opening in theaters in time for Earth Day 2019, I can't help but think why? Penguins have multiple films now. I love those little ice birds. Probably more than any other species of bird, but March of the Penguins is even getting a sequel. At this point they have their spot in the limelight. More importantly, when you see the three animals involved, you realize Disneynature passed on Disneynature's Killer Whales . How cool would that have been? Orcas haven't shined since Free Willy . I'd even take Disneynature's Leopard Seals. Give is some excitement this time around. Either way, it's for a great cause. I'll be there regardless, & like I said, I do love penguins. Just think they missed a great chance. What do y'all think? Penguins, Killer Whales, or Leopard Seals? Put it in the comments, like, & share
