That's Better. Photos Of Broadway's "Frozen The Musical" Cast In Costume

Entertainment Weekly released these pictures of the cast in costume for Broadway's upcoming Frozen: The Musical & they are definitely more on point with what we'd expect. I was a little worried after the first concept pics of some of Anna's costumes came out. That coupled with the talk of the other "more realistic" changes scared me. These look amazing though. As if the characters jumped right off the screen. This is fantasy coming alive on stage to the fullest. That said though, I'm most curious to see how they pull of some of the more fantastical elements of this story. Not only Olaf the singing snowman, but the very animated reindeer Sven as well. We'll know for sure when Parri Murin, Caissie Levy, Jelani Alladin, & John Riddell come together for the try-out in Denver Aug 17 - Oct 1 & arrive in Broadway February 2018. Where there will be more story, more songs,  & 362 costume based on 172 designs all inspired by the Oscar-winning animated film. Part of me wants to try to get a look at this while it's in Denver, but I'm starting to think I should've planned that idea a little better. Anyway, what do y'all think of these beautiful costumes? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

What Is Elsa Wearing?!? Frozen Broadway Costumes Revealed (Updated: What is ANNA wearing?!?)

Frozen is Disney's newest addition to Broadway, scheduled to debut Spring of next year. Chip & Co. had some details as well as some costume reveals. They mentioned those wouldn't be the only changes as the Broadway version will be 20 minutes longer, with some changes to the score. All the original songs will be there, in addition to 12 new songs just for Broadway. Wondering at what point does this become something too different to resonate with fans. That being said back to these costumes. What the hell are those? They look like someone went to the Alaskan Salvation Army & decided to play dress-up. You've got the Queen of green trash bags & her cold weather carriage driver. It's like they're going for a realistic approach in a story with a talking snowman. I'm totally not feeling these, not that I frequent Broadway anyway. This hasn't got me wanting to change that so far. What do y'all think? What's your feelings on these costumes? Let me know in the comments, like, & share.

(UPDATE) Apparently a couple of sites are floating these pics around with pics of both sisters. Thanks to Stitch Kingdom, & some further digging to make sure, originating in the NY Post it appears both of these costumes belong to Anna. Doesn't really change my views on them, but nonetheless,  they are only Anna's. She is both the Princess of green trash bags & the cold carriage driver.
