How Did “Frozen II” Become One Of My Most Anticipated Films Of The Year?

I know I’ve been away for almost a month. I’m working out some things here & there, but I couldn't miss taking some time for this new trailer for Frozen II. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first film. I mean, I loved Olaf, but the film itself didn't hit me the way it seemed to hit everyone else. Over time as the hype died down & I had seen it a few more times it grew on me. I never thought I'd be highly anticipating a sequel though. Then came the first trailer. Elsa taking her role to save the kingdom in almost superhero fashion. This newest look just builds on that with a big shift to the adventure aspect. It basically doubles down on the first look. We get a sense of the plot through a story told to the children by their parents. Of an enchanted forest where something went horribly wrong. Once again seeming to be tied into the elements. Elsa is being drawn by a voice, inspiring this adventure. Once again, epic is the word to use. This looks epic. Turning this Princess tale into something more akin to Willow or Lord of the Rings than your usual Princess fare. Anyway, I can’t wait for this, & the inevitable songs it will bring with it that we won’t be able to forget if we try. What about y'all? Is everyone else on for this like I am? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

"Maleficent II" Has Begun Production.... yay.

Production has begun at Pinewood Studios and locations around the U.K. on Maleficent II, the sequel to 2014’s Maleficent. I've kept no secret my thoughts on the brilliantly casted abomination that was delivered to us in the first film. Totally stripping away any villainy from what was Disney's greatest villain. Possibly one of the greatest villains of all time. So there's no need to say I'm not excited at all to see this continuation. Nonetheless I will still give it the chance to change my mind as there must be someone out there who wants this thing. Angelina Jolie returns to reprise the title role, along with Elle Fanning reprising her role as the lovely Princess Aurora. Joining the two are Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith along Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, and Robert Lindsay. With Harris Dickinson joining the fray as the charming Prince Phillip. Directed by Joachim Rønning and written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, & Noah Harpster, the film will be produced by Joe Roth  and Angelina Jolie. With the production announcement came this brief synopsis: "This new fantasy-adventure continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon-to-be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within." Look, this movie has so much going for it. Things that would normally entice me. Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Disney, the perfect casting of Angelina Jolie. All these things can't make me look past how burned i'l felt by the first film. They had a chance to do something extraordinary, & give us a villain film. Instead we got the easy way out of misunderstood, & really a "good guy" villain. Does anyone even want this? Let me know in the comments, like & share.

Wreck-it Ralph Sequel Officially Has a Name

Looks like the upcoming sequel to "Wreck-it Ralph" will be too big to hold in an arcade. "The Wrap" reports Disney's upcoming March 9, 2018 release will be named "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2". John C Reilly,  Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, & Jane Lynch are returning to their rolds. Along with the original's co-writer Phil Johnston co-directing with original director Rich Moore. Well, everyone's back for the ride this time. The name's pretty much on the nose as to what I expected after all the talk of this one going to the interwebs. I just hope it does the original service. Disney still doesn't have the best track record when it comes to animated sequels. So, fingers crossed...
